1874-1911 Anders Trulson, född 14 juli 1874 i Tosterup, död 23 augusti 1911 i Italien, var en svensk konstnär. Anders Trulson föddes i Tosterup, där fadern var kusk på ett gods. Han fick sin utbildning i Köpenhamn och Stockholm, och blev enligt flera en dansksvensk blandning. Han bodde flera år i Lund innan hans utlandsresor började 1905, bland annat till Paris och Bregge. Trulson dog 1911 bara 37 år gammal på resa i Italien. 1902 var han med och grundade Skånska konstnärslaget som tillsammans med Konstföreningen för södra Sverige var centrum för det skånska konstlivet. AUGUSTIN, Jacques-Jean-Baptiste
French miniaturist (b. 1759, Saint-Di? d. 1832, Paris) 1832). French painter. After receiving instruction in art from Jean Girardet (1709-78) and Jean-Baptiste-Charles Claudot (1733-1805), he went to Paris in 1781, where he won recognition as a miniature painter. The miniatures he painted in the 1790s, for example his portrait of Mme Vanh?e, n?e Dewinck (1792; Paris, Louvre), are among his most animated works; often portraying figures in a landscape setting, they develop the exuberant style of Niclas Lafrensen and Peter Adolf Hall. He also admired the work of Jean-Baptiste Greuze, whose Bacchante (Waddesdon Manor, Bucks, NT) in his own collection he copied in miniature (London, Wallace) and in enamel (Paris, Louvre).
Francois-Marius Granet
1775-1849 French Francois Marius Granet Gallery French painter; student of J. L. David. Granet is known for his depictions of church interiors, among them his numerous versions of the Choir of the Capuchin Monastery, one of which is in the Metropolitan Museum. He bequeathed much of his own best work and also his fine collection of paintings to the museum of his native Aix-en-Provence.
